Scope & Purpose
This page is an official legal / commercial policy document, with a clear hierarchy, numbered sections, and a right business legal data.

This policy defines the conditions under which affiliate partners are permitted to run paid search (PPC) advertising campaigns related to the ActivTours® brand.
The purpose of this policy is to protect brand integrity, ensure fair competition, and allow only incremental, compliant, and transparent affiliate-driven traffic.
This policy applies to all affiliates, publishers, and partners running or intending to run PPC campaigns related to ActivTours.
Section 2
Approved PPC Activities
Allowed Keyword Types
Affiliates are permitted to bid only on coupon / promo-intent keywords, including but not limited to:
  • ActivTours coupon
  • ActivTours promo code
  • ActivTours discount
  • ActivTours offer
Only Exact Match and Phrase Match keyword types are allowed. Broad match is strictly prohibited.
Approved Markets
PPC campaigns are permitted only in countries explicitly approved in writing by ActivTours.
Any expansion to additional markets or regions requires prior written authorization.
Advertising Budget
All PPC campaigns must be funded entirely by the affiliate.
ActivTours does not reimburse, co-fund, or subsidize any PPC advertising costs.
Section 3
Strictly Prohibited PPC Activities
Brand Keyword Restrictions
Affiliates are strictly prohibited from bidding on:

Standalone brand keywords:
  • "ActivTours", "activtours", "activetours"
  • "Activ Tours", "activ tours", "active tours"
  • Brand + destination keywords (e.g. "ActivTours Paris", "ActivTours Spain")
  • Brand + competitor keywords
Brand Representation
Affiliates must not:
Present themselves as the official ActivTours website or representative
Use misleading ad copy implying ownership, partnership, or exclusivity
Imitate or replicate the structure, messaging, or appearance of the official ActivTours website
Use ActivTours trademarks, logos, or brand assets without prior written approval

Ad Formats & Extensions
Affiliates are not permitted to use:
  • Sitelinks, callouts, or structured snippets that replicate or imitate the official ActivTours website
  • Display URLs that may cause confusion with the official ActivTours domain
Section 4
Offer & Coupon Policy
All PPC campaigns must promote real, valid, and approved offers.
The use of fake, expired, misleading, or "no code required" promotions is strictly forbidden.
Affiliate promo codes or benefits:
  • do not imply permanent discounts
  • may be modified or discontinued at any time
  • are not guaranteed to be available indefinitely
ActivTours reserves the right to withdraw PPC permissions if brand trust or user experience is negatively affected.
Section 5
Transparency & Monitoring
Affiliates agree that ActivTours may, at any time:

request keyword lists prior to campaign launch

request screenshots or reports of active PPC campaigns

monitor brand search behavior and affiliate attribution data

Important: Failure to comply with monitoring requests may result in immediate suspension of PPC permissions.
Section 6
Enforcement & Termination
ActivTours reserves the right to:
Suspend
immediately suspend or revoke PPC authorization
Withhold
withhold affiliate commissions generated in violation of this policy
Terminate
terminate the affiliate relationship in case of repeated or severe breaches

No prior notice is required in cases involving brand misuse, trademark infringement, or misleading advertising.
Section 7
Final Notes
Binding Agreement
This policy applies to all current and future affiliate partners running PPC campaigns related to the ActivTours brand.
Continued participation in the ActivTours affiliate program constitutes full acceptance of this policy.

This document is binding once PPC permission is granted in writing.
